Plantain

Plantain is James Fenwicke Holmes’s (Mumlers, Continuous Peasant) collaborative solo project with Andy Paul (Mumlers) and Robbie Lewis. They play loosely concise and folky songs about cabin fever, devotion, and haunted love in a sound that is familiar yet profound. Part summer fun, part winter hibernation odes, Plantain began in San Jose in 2008 and continue to play throughout the Mid Coastal California area.

They plan to go to a studio soon and record their first full-length album sometime this summer, that is unless one of them suddenly decides to move to Uruguay without telling anyone.
